Ingent-Openmade Consulting, Join Hands to 'Activate Data Platform Construction Business'

Ingent announced on the 28th that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with Openmade Consulting to 'activate the data platform construction business'.

Through the agreement, the two companies will jointly sell eXperDB, an enterprise DBMS based on Ingent's PostgreSQL, and OpenPOP OTO, an Oracle open source DB conversion support solution from OpenMade Consulting.

eXperDB provides a variety of integrated functions such as migration, data encryption, and performance monitoring based on PostgreSQL, an open source DBMS. PostgreSQL is the only open source DBMS with enterprise-level functions and performance. It has the advantage of high compatibility with other systems due to standard compliance and easy heterogeneous conversion.

OpenPop O2 automatically supports the process including automatic conversion of Oracle SQL, comparison/verification of the result values and performance of the converted SQL, and stabilization of DB performance through index optimization.

Park Jae-beom, CEO of Ingent, said, “Openmade Consulting participated as a speaker at the last Ingent ISS 2023 and introduced OpenPop O2,” and added, “We hope that the open source DBMS market will expand through cooperation between the two companies.”
