Openmade Consulting has submitted 'Query Medic v1.2,' an SQL auto-tuning solution that integrates Large Language Model (LLM) technology.

Query Medic is a next-generation AI-based AIOps solution that uses AI to detect malicious SQL—the main culprit behind system performance degradation—in real-time and performs automatic rewriting and verification into optimal queries like a skilled tuner.

Openmade Consulting presents the principle of 'Tune First, Expand Later.' By first catching resources wasted due to inefficient SQL with AI auto-tuning, organizations can strategically delay infrastructure expansion and control Cloud OPEX in real-time.

The unique feature of Query Medic is the completion of a '24/7 SQL auto-tuning' system. Unlike conventional solutions that only provided simple guides, it implements 'structural rewriting' technology where AI directly modifies the SQL sentence structure.

This is significant as it allows the system to optimize performance without interruption, even at night or on holidays when experts are unavailable.

Query Medic has established a technical barrier to entry that competitors cannot imitate by learning from 'practical tuning datasets' accumulated by Openmade Consulting over 20 years across tens of thousands of DB consulting sites.

In particular, to prevent the 'hallucination' phenomenon of AI, it features a 'consistency verification module' that automatically performs comprehensive verification of result values before and after tuning, securing enterprise-grade reliability.

Furthermore, it minimizes system load by adopting an 'agentless' architecture that does not require separate agents on operational DBs.

It provides an intuitive UX allowing managers without specialized knowledge to generate and apply performance improvement reports with a single click. It boasts a processing speed 30 times faster than professional tuners and a cost of introduction at 1/15th the level.

Openmade Consulting aims to achieve annual sales of over 5 billion KRW in the domestic market alone within the next three years. It also plans to expand Query Medic's support range from Oracle to various open-source and domestic DBs such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Tibero.

CEO Choi Young-cheol of Openmade Consulting stated, "We plan to evolve Query Medic beyond a standalone solution into an 'Integrated Autonomous Operating DB Platform' by linking it with OpenPOP, automating the entire process from 'failure detection and root cause analysis to AI auto-tuning, consistency verification, and deployment.'"
