Openmade Consulting, a company specializing in SQL quality and performance optimization, successfully concluded the '9th 2024 Korea Software Expo' held at COEX in Seoul for three days from December 4th. 300 companies and 550 booths participated in this event, and Openmade Consulting attracted attention with its solution that optimizes SQL quality and performance management.

Openmade Consulting presented to SoftwareWave 2024 participants through a dedicated booth ▲'Open POP', a SQL quality and performance optimization solution to prevent Oracle performance failures, ▲Open POP SPS, a solution that can identify and respond to problems that may occur due to SQL performance degradation when the DB operating environment and operating platform are changed such as Oracle 19c upgrade, DB parameter change, U2L, etc., and ▲'Open POP OTO', a solution that automates SQL conversion and verification when converting from Oracle DB to open source DB.

In particular, there was a great interest in 'Open POP', which enables a preemptive DB performance failure prevention system by optimizing the quality and performance of SQL. With the introduction of the Open POP solution, the process from development to deployment is automated, and when a DB failure occurs, it is possible to switch from a post-response environment to a preemptive failure prevention system, so the DB can be operated stably, and since work that cannot be performed based on manpower can be implemented through the solution, operating resource costs can be reduced.

Additionally, many participants who visited the Open Made Consulting booth also showed interest in 'Open POP OTO', which supports easy migration from Oracle DB to open source DBs such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Tibero.

It has been well-received for its ability to overcome limitations that may arise when converting existing open source DBs through technologies such as automatic conversion to SQL, automatic verification of SQL execution results/performance, and design of optimal indexes, and for its ability to enable a smooth and rapid conversion from Oracle to open source DB by objectively verifying converted SQL and stabilizing DB performance early.
