Openmade Consulting (CEO Choi Young-cheol), a specialist in database consulting and solutions, announced on the 28th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with TmaxTibero (CEO Park Kyung-hee, hereinafter referred to as Tibero), a leading domestic DBMS specialist, for cooperation in database performance stabilization and tuning automation business using the AI-based SQL tuning solution ‘Query Medic’.

This agreement was prepared to create mutual synergy in the database market and provide practical DB performance stabilization value to customers by combining Openmade Consulting’s AI-based SQL auto-tuning technology with Tibero’s DBMS technical prowess. In particular, focus was placed on further enhancing customers' database operational stability by actively integrating ‘Query Medic,’ Openmade Consulting’s core solution, into the Tibero DBMS environment.

Query Medic is an AI-based SQL tuning solution independently developed by Openmade Consulting. Its core value is to fundamentally stabilize database performance by automating complex SQL analysis and optimization tasks. By automating the SQL tuning process previously performed manually by professional DBAs through AI, database performance degradation issues can be resolved quickly and accurately. Additional effects such as labor cost reduction, hardware (H/W) resource usage optimization, and DBMS operating cost reduction are also expected.

Through this cooperation, both companies plan to provide Query Medic services to customers who have adopted Tibero DBMS and broadly support the optimization and advancement of customers' database performance. Furthermore, they will actively pursue market expansion by developing joint sales and marketing activities.

CEO Choi Young-cheol of Openmade Consulting stated, "We expect Query Medic’s AI-based SQL tuning technology combined with the high-performance Tibero DBMS to be a powerful solution that fundamentally resolves database performance issues experienced by customers. Based on the principle of mutual trust and sincerity, we will actively cooperate to create a successful business model for stabilizing customers' DB performance."

CEO Park Kyung-hee of Tibero said, "By adding Openmade Consulting’s innovative AI tuning technology through this collaboration, we have secured a higher level of technical competitiveness in the database market. We will lead the market by providing customers with a more intelligent and optimized data management experience."

Meanwhile, Openmade Consulting plans to enter the overseas market for Query Medic in the second half of this year and is also preparing to launch a SaaS service next year. Through this, it intends to full-scale expand the competitiveness of its AI-based DB performance stabilization solution in the global database market beyond South Korea.
