Data center relocation and replacement of aging equipment
Center relocation and internal system next-generation SQL performance verification
T-money operates and services a "One Stop Service" system from reservation to payment by linking various means of transportation such as express buses, intercity buses, charging and distribution, taxis, Biz Pay, merchants, and partners through an open transportation information platform and a smart mobility infrastructure system.
This project is being carried out by dividing the work and transferring it to Sangam IDC and Hanam IDC as the contract for the Incheon IDC center, which operates the entire operating system, has expired, and replacing and upgrading the aging system (HW, SW) for T-money operation work.
In this project, OpenPop is being utilized to automatically analyze the impact of changes in SQL performance on 40 operational DBMSs (Oracle DBMS 11g → 19c) and to quickly stabilize SQL performance through early optimization of SQLs expected to experience performance degradation due to plan changes, thereby successfully performing Oracle DBMS Upgrade tasks and stabilizing DBs.
As this is a large-scale project to transfer 40 DBMSs, we adopted OpenPOP, which has already completed performance and verification of solutions in domestic next-generation/advanced projects.
The solution
Selecting SQL change targets according to DB Version (19C) Upgrade
Full check of SQL execution errors in 19C environment
Support for SQL performance comparison verification and performance optimization in the current operating DB (11g) and new operating DB (19c) environments
Early performance verification of APP/SQL on new operating DB
SQL Performance Optimization Process and Performance/History Management
